Miguel has a work history that spans primary and secondary school teaching, ICT management and business consultancy.  He and his wife bought a bach in Mangawhai in 2009 and moved here permanently in 2017.  He is largely self-taught as a woodworker and enjoys making musical instruments, especially ukuleles.  In the little spare time he has, Miguel plays ukulele with 2 local music groups, “Totally Uked” and “4 In A Bar”.
