I trained and worked as a horologist; branched into automotive instruments then into aircraft instrument and avionics repair. Following the changes in technology I moved into the repair and calibration of aircraft tooling.

I have made various clocks both “tic toc” and electric and tooling and equipment.

I built my 1st boat, a kayak, at 10 (with assistance) and have built and helped to build many small craft since then.

I’ve competed 7 times in WOW (World Of Wearable art) in Nelson and Wellington and won section awards 3 times with runner up overall once.

I’ve been a live sound man for a couple of bands in Auckland. I saw the light and moved to Mangawhai from Auckland at the beginning of 2018.
